the mage, my experience being one, and what u can expect from us

yup the post is quite clear
i wana post some info on the class im playing
the mage (this is not only for other mages)
so lets start it of
the mage is mostly a long range damagedealer with low def just like the marksman
to do our job and to do it well whe thereby seriously depend on tanks and if the tank
doesnt do his job or cant according to the need(when aoeing for example) also on healers

our talent trees are fire,lightning and ice and like every other class they specialize and improve a part of a mage's job.

aoe spamming and a good initial skil thats it
this tree provides fire aoes and improves em

an effect on many of the fire skils is a burn for more dot

if yur fighting a bunch of mobs in an instance and the mage is a fire mage:
be prepared to heal and/or take agro from him since lotsa mobs = lotsa damage
it pays of thoug as they help alot when going for a fast sweep in a mob intensive instance

if u are one however:
-watch out with taking on too many mobs
-yul be using alot of mana when aoeing
-yul see your gears durability fall as if gravity actually affects it
-make sure to remember u have a mp shield when u do take on alot of mobs
and when yur on the verge of death use ice barrier
-if go to an instance where yul be taking on many mobs at once
inform the healer cuz when u aoe and 5+ mobs come for u u wont have the time to ask or for a healer to notice u need help
-prepare to die alot
-teaming up with a protector with aoe agro skil is a great idea


as far as my opinion goes the mages first skil fireball is when put points it is the best of the 3: it requires a very low amount of mana can be spammed every 2 seconds has a bleed of 1K+ over 5 sec that stacks and has high normal damage too

il continue this later as im now kinda tired xP
